Ono ongincor is required to supervise the maintenance work generally but the othor should be dispensed with. It would scom logical that the maintenance branch of the Architectural office should take over the caro of Government furnituro, at present done by tho Storos branch of the Accounts and Storos sub department, but tho Commissioners did not go fully into this question. Tho Govornnont should consider which would be the most economical. 15.
